Due to the high level of activity in the shipping industry, the Norwegian Maritime Directorate is experiencing an increasing workload. We are therefore, constantly looking for people with the right qualifications to take on the important work for safety at sea, either in one of our departments at the main office in Haugesund or at one of the Directorate’s stations along the Norwegian coast.

If you have an engineering or a technical degree, or are an experienced captain, have nautical training or have sailed as an engineer, we would like to hear from you. We may also be looking for able colleagues to handle legal issues, as well as people for administrative disciplines such as archives, accounting and IT.
