STCW 95 is the international agreement stating the norms of education, certificates and security for all sailors. The agreement dates back to 1978 and was revised in July 1995. All personnel requiring a certificate must have valid qualifications that meet the requirements stated in the revised STCW95 agreement.
This page mainly contains different documents stating the requirements needed to hold a certificate. It also contains information about how to endorse a national certificate. Other information concerning sailors and seafarers will be found here. Among other information you will find a detailed list of approved doctors.
